Greenville Art Consultant: Everett King Consulting

This shoot was a turning point for me! Over the past year or so, I’ve been making the transition out of weddings and beginning to focus solely on shooting interiors and creatives. This shoot with Everett was exactly what I needed to solidify that the direction I was going was the right move. It was the perfect combination of shooting beautifully designed interiors and getting to know and document the process and craft of a fellow creative. It felt effortless and like it was what I was meant to do. And Everett’s encouragement throughout the shoot and since that what I offer is unique and needed has been such a treat. So now, enough about me…let’s meet Everett!

The whole goal of King Consulting is “bringing art to life”. She is an art consultant who helps you connect with artists and find the right pieces for your home and your collection. After working with many interior designers in the area, I kept hearing over and over how hard it can be to get clients to invest in or choose art for their new space since it is such a personal thing. This is exactly where someone like Everett would come in to bridge the gap and help people find art they love and that becomes a part of their everyday life. Her personal art collection is GOALS, and I think about her breakfast nook gallery wall often. Probably too often.

There are so many things I love about her vision and goal for her business. But I especially love how she takes the process of “collecting art” and makes it down to earth and attainable. Two things that you often wouldn’t associate with having an art collection. Her home is beautifully curated and styled but also realistic and lived in (i.e. toys lying around and her kids art taped up next to items in her collection). The perfect mix if you ask me.
