30A Family Beach Vacay

This was the longest vacation either of us has gone on in a very long time...even longer than our honeymoon! A full week at the most beautiful beach for Will to rest up between clinical rotations and for me to actually get a taste of summer. Almost a year ago, my parents threw around the idea of renting a big house for a week during the summer and getting everyone together as a late 30 year wedding anniversary celebration. Best decision ever.

We stayed in WaterSound Beach, biked down to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, and ventured down to Seaside a few times. We finished off the week with a 10-hour deep sea fishing trip! (See the second to last picture for the most exciting catch of the day).

I think a shirt I saw while we were down there pretty much sums up how I feel about this slice of heaven..."30A All Damn Day".
